THE PUBLIC QUERY HAS BEEN RECENTLY OPENED REGARDING THE MIFID II DIRECTIVE

THE SPANISH ECONOMIC MINISTERY HAS RECENTLY OPENED A PUBLIC QUERY IN ORDER TO OBTAIN OPINIONES REGARDING THE TRANSPOSITION OF MIFID II DIRECTIVE This Minister has opened a query about the draft bill of the legislation which is meant to transpose the MIFID II directive that will enter into force at the beginning of 2018. This query, which will be available until the 10^th of April, has the aim to obtain opinions about the issues that set out this Directive that, as we mentioned before, will represent a modification of the Stock Market Legislation in our country. Furthermore, another of the objectives of this regulation is improve the regulation of some financial products, strengthen the investor’s protection and increase transparency in the markets.
