The European union wants to limit the right to expats to collect unemployment benefits

From now on, it will be required that the employee has, at least, worked during three months in the new country, in order to include in the calculation of the unemployment benefit all the contributions that he or she has accumulated in her or his origin country. This measurement expects to reduce the popularity that some extreme and populist parties are reaching in a big number of countries in the European Union with their Eurosceptic speech.
