New type of entry visa in Russia.

The Russian first Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, signed a decree on the introduction of a new version of the visa to enter Russia. Before of this decree, the citizens of other countries and people without specific citizenship received an ordinary visa to enter in the Russian Federation by decision of the territorial body of the Ministry of the Interior. “The category” ordinary visa “is supplemented with a new version – an ordinary visa for entry to Russia in order to obtain a temporary residence permit in Russia,” – explained Medvedev in the certificate of the decree. A new type of visa will be granted for a period of up to four months by the diplomatic or consular representative of the Russian Federation, after resolution of the competent territorial case of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation. This visa will be issued only once.
