Putin hat ratified the Convention of the Council of Europe about Combating the Financing of Terrorism

On July 26 2017, the Russian President signed a federal law to ratify the Convention of the Council of Europe about Combating the Financing of Terrorism. The document says that “the ratification of the Convention by the Russian part is going to create additional opportunities to develop the international cooperation in terms of identifying, capturing and confiscating the products coming from the criminal activity. We should remember that the Convention was signed by Russia in Strasbourg in 2009. After its approval, the Administrative Crime Code is going to punish the legal entities for the legalization of the products coming from criminal activity.
